Regional Coordinator, Invasive Species and Compliance
The Regional Coordinator, Invasive Species and Compliance is responsible for providing coordination, leadership and direction in pest animal and plant control activities in accordance with the Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges Natural Resources Management Plan and objectives. The role supervises the regional Senior Compliance Officer and has oversight for the planning and delivery of the Regions compliance and enforcement activities. This leadership role provides the point of contact and control for internal and external communications, policy development, advice and direction on implementation of the regions pest animal and plant control responsibilities. It also provides strategic direction for the development and implementation of the Regions compliance plans, risk assessments and procedures.
Key objectives and activities of this role will be delivered in collaboration with Program Managers and District Managers across the region.
Will be required to participate in fire management and associated duties. Also participate in Biosecurity emergency response. A current class "C" driver's licence and willingness to drive is essential. A current National Police Certificate is essential. Located at Eastwood or Cleland office. This position may be offered on either a full time or part-time basis. Salary will be adjusted accordingly for part-time hours worked. Intrastate travel including overnight absences may be required.
